Travel in Bangladesh

There are much traveling places, include with archaeological sites, historic mosques and memorials, resorts, shores, picnic spots, forests and tribal people, wildlife of several species. Bangladesh offers sufficient opportunities to tourists for angling, water skiing, river cruising, hiking, rowing, yachting, sea bathing as well as bringing one in close touch with pristine nature.
In the north part, including the Rajshahi area, there are archaeological sites, including the temple city Puthia in Rajshahi; the largest and most ancient archaeological site, Mahasthangarh in Bogra; the single largest Buddhist monastery, Paharpur in Naogaon; the most attractive terracota Hindu temple in Bangladesh Kantaji Temple, and many rajbaris or palaces of old zamindars.
In the south-western part, mainly the Khulna area, there is the Sundarbans, the biggest mangrove forest of the world with Royal Bengal Tiger and spotted deer. The traditionally and architecturally important sixty domed mosque in Bagerhat is a famous place.
In the south-eastern part, which is the Chittagong area, there are mainly natural and mountainous states like , along with sandy sea shores. The most famous beach is the longest unbroken sandy sea beach in the world in Cox's Bazaar.
In the north-eastern part, Sylhet area, there is a green carpeting of  on small hillocks. Natural reserved plantations are great charms. Migratory birds in winter, particularly in the haor areas, are also very pretty in this area.
