Lalbag Fort | Lalbag Kella, Dhaka
Lalbagh Fort (also known as "Fort Aurangabad") is situated of the river bank of Buriganga, in the southwestern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It’s an incomplete Mughal palace. Construction was commenced in 1678 by Prince Muhammad Azam during his 15-month long vice-royalty of Bengal, but before the work could complete, he was recalled by Aurangzeb. His successor, Shaista Khan, did not complete the work, though he stayed in Dhaka up to 1688. His daughter Iran Dukht nicknamed Pari Bibi (Fairy Lady) died here in 1684 and this led him to consider the fort to be ominous. It is one of the most popular traveling areas of Bangladesh. Now the fort area is maintenance by the Archaeology Department of the Bangladesh government.

Ahsan Manzil, Dhaka
Ahsan Manzil (Bengali: আহসান মঞ্জিল) the wonderful building is found at Kumartoli beside the banks of the Buriganga River in Bangladesh, was the formal residential palace and seat of the Dhaka Nawab Family. This wonderful building is found at Kumartoli beside the banks of the Buriganga River in Bangladesh. The structure of this palace was started in the year 1859 and was finished in 1869. Created in the Indo-Saracenic Revitalization building. To reserve the traditional and history of the area, the palace became the Bangladesh National Museum on 20 September 1992. Every year thousands of visitors (Included foreigner) come here to see its beauts. It's one of the Bangladeshi incredible traveling places. It's bares the history of Nawab Family & remembering the Nawab Family.
Visiting Hours & Holidays:
Ahsan Manzil closed on Thursday, the museum is open from 10:30 to 17:30 on weekdays, and 15:00 to 19:30 on Friday during summer time (April – September). During winter (October – March), its open from 9:30 to 16:30 on weekdays and 15:00 to 19:30 on Friday. Go ahead and spend an hour or two at Ahsan Manzil and enjoy its beauty only in return of a 10 taka entry fee.

In the north part, including the Rajshahi area, there are archaeological sites, including the temple city Puthia in Rajshahi; the largest and most ancient archaeological site, Mahasthangarh in Bogra; the single largest Buddhist monastery, Paharpur in Naogaon; the most attractive terracota Hindu temple in Bangladesh Kantaji Temple, and many rajbaris or palaces of old zamindars.
